How we did it
The 2018 Digital Symposium was held on the 26th – 27th April. In the months leading up to it, Manan were tasked with devising a pre-event PR plan to showcase what was in store for delegates that year. A substantial part of this was coordinating interviews with a number of the key speakers for the event. We made contact, interviewed them about the topic of their talk and digital dentistry in general, wrote up their comments and published the articles in the dental press.
We successfully published eight separate interviews on a range of thought-provoking topics in the three months leading up to the event. An important aspect of our expertise is knowing which journals to select for each article in order to appeal to the different audiences and attract maximum interest. Our articles were published in carefully picked dental journals or published online in ‘digital dentistry’ supplements to reach as wide an audience as possible.
This pre-event PR campaign gained great exposure for the event and the showcased speakers, and gave a tantalising taste of the topics that delegates could look forward to learning more about at the event – an informative, thought-provoking PR campaign that proved to be an invaluable support to the intense advertising campaign run concurrently by Henry Schein Dental.
